Admissions 2021 Highlights

 

  • Admissions are offered once a year as per the schedule decided by the university
  • For the UG programmes (BA/B.Com), candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject
  • For the PG programmes(MA/M.Com/M. Sc), candidates must have bachelor’s degree or any other examination of a three year duration from a recognized institution
  • Admissions to al the courses is purely on the basis of merit of the previous qualifying examination
  • For the candidates that have a compartment in English or any one subject in 10+2 are also eligible for provisional admission provided they qualify in the subject in the next annual examination and provide proof of clearing the exam
  • Candidates can apply for the courses online on the official website of the university
  • The annual examinations at DDE are conducted in the months of May and June
  • The results of all the courses are declared maximum by August

 

How to Apply?

 

Candidates interested in getting admission in DDE-MDU can do so through the official website of the institute. Candidates can follow the following steps to apply for admissions:

  • Visit the official website of the university. Click here
  • Click on ‘Online Admissions’ on the top panel
  • Click on Admissions in New Programme
  • You will then be directed to an instructions page. The link in the first step will lead the candidate to a website registration page
  • Once registered, the candidate will get the student number and password via SMS, email and also display on the screen
  • Candidates then have to log in and fill details and upload necessary documents
  • Once all the details are filled, candidates have to generate a challan
  • The programme fee has to be paid with the challan from any branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank
  • After depositing the fees, candidates will receive a new password to be used to select subjects
  • Finally, candidates have to submit a copy of the application form to the office of DDE-MDU (physically or via post)
  • Candidates are advised to keep a note of the Student Number & Password for future reference

 

Documents Required

 

Candidates must have scanned copies of the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Marksheets of 10th & 12th standard
  • Graduation degree (if applicable)
  • Shastri Examination Certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport sized photograph
  • Signature/thumb impression

 

 

How to check the result?

Students can check their results from the official website of DDE using the following steps

  • Log into the DDE official website
  • Click on the student portal and select ‘Examination’
  • Candidates then have to select the course
  • Candidates are then required to enter their Registration and Roll Number
  • After clicking on ‘Proceed for Result’, students will be able to view their results

 

Students who are not satisfied with their results and wish to re-appear for the same, have the option to do so:

 

Re-appearing or Revaluation Examination

Students who have either failed in any exam or simply wish to improve their scores in the previous exams, can do so by submitting an application in the office od DDE. The form for the same can be found on the official website of the university.

 

Re-appearing or Revaluation Results

The results of the revaluation is generally released within one month of the last date of application acceptance date, i.e. students will get their revaluation results within a month from filling the request
