Delhi University is one of the top universities of India situated in Delhi established in 1922 and has two campuses; North Campus and South Campus. It was founded by the Central Assembly act. The first institute to become the state of eminence. It is a central university which does not grant domicile status to any specific state.

The Vice President is the chancellor of the university. The School of Open Learning which is a division of Delhi University was founded in 1962 and admits both foreign and national students. It is one of the best universities providing the facility of getting a degree pursuing distance education. The School of Open Learning is situated in North Campus.

Admission 2021 Highlights

  • For courses such as B. Com, BA and also B.A. (H), students need tohave studied similar subjects in class xii.
  • Admission to undergraduate programmes will be granted only on the basis of merit.
  • The xii-board exam result is counted in the merit.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required for MA and M.COM programmes
  • The bachelor’s degree should be from the same stream.
  • Post Graduate criteria is based on entrance exam and merit-based tests.
  • Half of seats in postgraduate courses are filled on the basis of merit and the other half are based on the result of the entrance exam.

The average salary one can get in the third year of graduate programmes are 3 lakhs to 4 lakh per annum.

B.A. (H) English

  • The student should have scored at least 65% in 10+2 or a relevant qualifying exam.
  • The student should have scored 75% in functional, elective or any other English subject.
  • Vocational subjects will not be considered.

B. Com (H)

  • There should be at least 55% in 10+2

Or

  • The candidate should have scored 40% marks in class xii.

B. Com and B.A Programme

  • Students from CBSE need to submit the best of five subjects.
  • Students from other boards need to submit an aggregate score.

B.A. (H) Political Science

  • The student should have 50% in class xii
  • The students fromCBSE and NIOS need to submit their scores.
  • Aggregate scores need to be submitted by students from other boards.

M.A. (H) Hindi

  • Candidates must have B.A. (H) Hindi from Delhi University with 65% marks
  • OBC candidates must have scored 58.5% in B.A.(H) Hindi

  • SC/ ST and PWD candidates will be admitted according to the rules of SOL.

M. Com

  • Candidate should have passed B.COM with a score between 65-70%

  • OBCcandidates should have passedB. Com getting 60-65% marks
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST and PWD will have scored 58.5-60% in B. Com

M.A. (H) Political Science

  • Candidates should have passed B.A.(H) Political Science from Delhi University with at least 60% marks

M.A. (H) Sanskrit

  • The candidates fromGeneral category need to have passed B.A. (H) Sanskrit with 60% marks.

  • OBC candidates need to have scored 54% marks in B.A. (H) Sanskrit.

  • The candidates from SC/ST and PWD need to confirm to SOL rules.

  • Upload the documents required, then scan your photograph, signature and educational marksheets.
  • Pay the application fees using your preferred mode of payment such as credit card, debit card or net banking
