Jaipur National University (JNU)

The university was established in the year of 2007 by Government of Rajasthan.  The university by accredited and its programme were approved by UGC members in the year of 2008. The university provides number of offering such as Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Programmes in the streams like Engineering, Pharmacy, Life and Basic Sciences, Business and Management, Education, Law, Mass Media, Hotel Management, Computer and System Sciences, Nursing, Medical and Para-Medical courses.

The above programs are approved by the relevant regulatory bodies – AICTE, NCTE, BCI, INC, PCI, MCI. The university has around 7000 students and 600 faculty members and this is the first private university in Rajasthan. National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC) has accredited this university base on a very comprehensive evaluation and this accreditation has taken place in just 7 years after its establishment.

JNU in the recent years has set up a benchmark in each and every sphere of learning especially in the fields of higher and technical education and has become most sought after educational institution. It continues to reach newer heights of excellence with its growing multi-faculty and multi-disciplinary fields.

The main motto of The School of Distance Education and Learning has been to maintain the quality of education provided to its student. The university not only provides quality study material but is also provides proper consultation by well educated and experienced teaching professional at a place near the student’s doorstep. The main advantage of distance education is that it is more viable and affordable than the conventional mode of education.

Placements

JNU has a separate and independent placement cell which facilitates campus placements to the students of the university. The main job\purpose of this placement cell is to impart training to the students on soft-skills, personality development, written and oral skills, and inform them about the employment trends in both the public and private sector.
